My understanding from recently attending MD legislative hearings on Direct to Consumer wine shipment has led me to learn that existing law allows wine shipment through the ever user-friendly "Three Tier system" ..... Send wine to MD distributor who will deliver it to a local wine shop near the consumer.
The MD Comptroller's office indicate that no licenses have been issued to use this method in 2007. Was wondering if anyone has tried using this system and can provide some info regarding their experiences with the MD wine distributors. I believe that the information would be useful to the MD legislators currently considering the Direct shipment bills.
